Nikura identifies the oil as Citrus sinensis and describes it as a pure, naturally sweet citrus oil extracted from orange rind.

How to Use

In a diffuser:
Add a few drops to your diffuser, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Begin with a small amount and adjust according to the size of the room and your preferred scent strength.

For massage or body blends:
Dilute thoroughly in a suitable carrier oil before applying to the skin. Never apply essential oils undiluted, and perform a patch test before wider use.

For a personalised aroma:
Blend with Lavender, Bergamot, Frankincense, Patchouli, Rose Geranium, Cedarwood or Lemongrass essential oils.

For the bath:
Essential oils do not disperse safely in water by themselves. Mix with a suitable bath-dispersing base before adding to bathwater. Do not add undiluted drops directly to the bath.

Do not ingest or apply undiluted to the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, face, mucous membranes and other sensitive areas. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

The undiluted oil is flammable and may cause skin irritation or an allergic skin reaction. It may be fatal if swallowed and enters the airways. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and seek immediate medical advice.

Keep away from children and pets. Consult a suitably qualified professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Avoid release into drains or the environment. Store upright with the container tightly closed in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat, sparks and naked flames.

Nikura’s current safety data sheet classifies the undiluted oil as flammable, a possible skin irritant and sensitiser, an aspiration hazard, and toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
